Shuka Saito Shares A Herbivorous Dragon of 5,000 Years Gets Unfairly Villainized Japanese Opening Theme MV
Voice actress/singer Shuka Saito, best known as You Watanabe in the Love Live! Sunshine!! franchise, has released a full music video for her fourth single song “Bokura wa Genius” (We are Genius) to be released on February 22, 2023.
While performing as a member of the Love Live! Sunshine!! franchise’s voice actress idol unit Aqours, she made her solo artist debut from SACRA MUSIC in August 2019 and has been steadily building her solo career, releasing three singles, two min-albums, and one full album.
“Bokura wa Genius” is now featured as the opening theme for the ongoing Japanese dub version of the anime adaptation of Kaisei Enomoto’s fantasy light novel series A Herbivorous Dragon of 5,000 Years Gets Unfairly Villainized, in which she is also cast as one of its main characters, Water Saint. As its title suggests, the theme of the song is “We are all geniuses, so let’s do whatever we want without comparing ourselves to anyone else!” In line with the lyrics, she plays around in the video wearing the school uniform and as a Super Sentai hero costume.

Crunchyroll currently streams the original Chinese language version of A Herbivorous Dragon of 5,000 Years Gets Unfairly Villainized for its Premium members, and describes the story of the series as follows:
Desperate to defend her village from the demon king, Reiko offers herself to a 5,000-year-old dragon for his help in exchange, but the flame-breathing beast is vegetarian and a total weakling. Together they embark on a journey to take down the demon king. With her dragon comrade, Reiko claims that she’s his disciple, able to draw from his infinite powers, but is it really from him?
