Shugo Nakamura’s BLUELOCK Ending Theme Gets New Animation MV Produced by Eight Bit

 

 

Following the original video, the official YouTube channel for voice actor Shugo Nakamura has also started streaming an animation music video for his sixth single song “WINNER,” which has been featured as the ending theme for the TV anime BLUELOCK since October. The clip featuring the anime’s main characters was newly produced by the TV anime’s production company, Eight Bit.

As an anime voice actor, Nakamura is best known as Teru Tendo in The Idolm@ster SideM and Ryota Miyagi in THE FIRST SLAM DUNK, and has played Gin Gagamaru, one of the main characters in BLUELOCK. As his sixth solo single, “WINNER” was released in Japan on November 16 2022, and peaked at #21 in Oricon’s weekly single chart.

The TV anime adaptation of Muneyuki Kaneshiro (story) and Yusuke Nomura’s (art) soccer-themed sports manga BLUELOCK has been aired in Japan since October 8 and has also been simulcast on Crunchyroll for its members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS.

 

Synopsis:

 

After a disastrous defeat at the 2018 World Cup, Japan’s team struggles to regroup. But what’s missing? An absolute Ace Striker, who can guide them to the win. The Japan Football Union is hell-bent on creating a striker who hungers for goals and thirsts for victory, and who can be the decisive instrument in turning around a losing match…and to do so, they’ve gathered 300 of Japan’s best and brightest youth players. Who will emerge to lead the team…and will they be able to out-muscle and out-ego everyone who stands in their way?
