It’s been a little while since Tsutomu Mizushima has graced anime fans with a brand new original TV anime but now that wait is over. To celebrate Railway Day in Japan, which commemorates the opening of Japan’s first train line between Shimbashi in Tokyo and Yokohama 150 years ago, Kadokawa revealed the first teaser visual for original TV anime Shumatsu Train Doko e Iku?
While not much is known about the series at this time, Shumatsu Train Doko e Iku?‘s tagline reads “I wonder if they were ever my friends” with Tsutomu Mizushima overseeing the series from its creation as its director. Mizushima is best known as the director of Shirobako, The Lost Village, GIRLS und PANZER and many more.
No date for Shumatsu Train Doko e Iku? has been confirmed at this stage.
