Shangri-La Frontier TV Anime New Teaser PV Has Players Diving Deep

 

Virtual MMORPGs are a great place to wreak havoc, and now a new teaser PV and key visual were released for Shangri-La Frontier, an upcoming TV anime based on the popular web novel and manga series.

 

 

 

Shangri-La Frontier is directed by Toshiyuki Kubooka and features animation production by C2C. The series will broadcast in Japan beginning in the fall season of 2023, and will also stream on Crunchyroll.

 

The original Shangri-La Frontier web novel is written by Katarina, and an English language version of the manga adaptation with artwork by Ryosuke Fuji is also available from Kodansha USA. Crunchyroll describes the story of Shangri-La Frontier:

 

“When was the last time I played a game that wasn’t crap?” This is a world in the near future where games that use display screens are classified as retro.
