Shaman King: Funbari Chronicle Mobile Game Sets End of Service Date

Shaman King: Funbari Chronicle

The Shaman King anime made its way to mobile devices when Shaman King: Funbari Chronicle launched in Japan on December 8, 2021, and now the fun(bari) is about to come to a close. Developer Studio Z announced plans to end service for the game on July 12, 2023, which is also when refunds will start being given out for any accounts with remaining premium currency on hand.

Studio Z’s announcement notes that Shaman King: Funbari Chronicle service is ending because it will be difficult for the devs to provide satisfactory service and content in the future. They thanked fans for all their support, adding that the sale of paid items will cease on June 12.

You can see a sample of the game in a trailer that arrived prior to its initial launch:

This may not totally be the end of the game, as Studio Z is considering an offline version that will allow players to continue enjoying the story and art, so stay tuned for more on that.
