Shadowverse Flame 3rd Cour PV Introduces New Opening Theme by Boy Idol Group NEWS

 

 

The official YouTube channel for the anime franchise inspired by Cygames’s card-battling game Shadowverse has posted a 110-second PV for the forthcoming third cour of its TV anime series Shadowverse Flame. The third cour entitled “Shadowverse Club Competition Arc” is set to begin on October 1.

 

The clip introduces the anime’s new opening theme song “Tick-Tock” performed by Johnny & Associates’ three-member boy idol group NEWS. The group’s oldest member, 38-year-old Keiichiro Koyama says, “Watching this anime, I feel a kind of battle of human power. I look forward to seeing the characters continue to show their growth, which cannot be obtained only by winning and losing. I think that Shadowverse Flame is loved all over the world. Just as Shadowverse connects people in the whole world, transcending national borders, I hope that our song will also be loved by Shadowbase fans all over the world.”

Meanwhile, the anime’s new ending theme song “STAR” is sung by six-member girl idol group Cho Tokimeki Sendenbu. The oldest member of the group, 23-year-old Kanami Tsujino says, “We recorded this song ‘STAR’ in the hope that everyone who watched the anime would feel more emotionally involved in the anime and be moved by listening to it. I hope many people will enjoy this song.”

Following the TV anime first season Shadowverse that was aired for 49 episodes from April 2020 to March 2021, the second season Shadowverse F  premiered on the TV Tokyo network stations across Japan on April 2, 2022. Both seasons are available on Crunchyroll to its members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
