Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts Opening & Ending Theme MVs Now Streamed
Following the well-received TV premiere in Japan on Wednesday night, the music videos for the opening and ending theme songs for the spring 2023 TV anime Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts have also been streamed on YouTube.

The opening theme song “Saku no Nie” (The sacrifice for the moon) is performed by three-member Japanese rock unit BIN, which was formed in 2019 by Yamagami (vocal), Tomato (illustration), and T (music). Their videos uploaded to YouTube have been viewed more than 30 million times. As thier first anime theme song work, the song was digitally released on April 20.

Meanwhile, the ending theme song “ONLY” is performed by two-member unit GARNiDELiA, consisting of MARiA (vocal) and toku (keyboards). They have provided theme songs for various anime series, such as KILL la KILL, The Irregular at Magic High School, and Taisho Otome Fairy Tale. The song was also released digitally on April 20.

The TV anime adaptation of Yu Tomofuji’s fantasy manga Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts premiered in Japan on April 19, 2023, and its first episode “The Sacrifice and the Night of the Ritual” is now available for Crunchyroll Premium members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS.
Crunchyroll describes the synopsis as below:
The King of the Beasts and Demons regularly receives female human sacrifices to eat in order to assert the dominance of his people over the human race. However, for the 99th sacrifice, the human girl brought to the capital, Sariphi, intrigues the Beast King. In fact she isn’t afraid of him or any other beast and even accepts her death without begging or crying as she has neither home nor family to return to if she were released. The King finds her intriguing and let her stay at his side as his consort despite being human. This is the story of how Sariphi will become the queen of the demons and beasts.
