ROUNDUP: Nintendo Reveals New Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Trailer, Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass and More

 

Nintendo delivered another action-packed Direct presentation today, kicking things off in adorable style with a look at Pikmin 4. That was just the beginning, though, after which we were treated to everything from the return of maraca rhythm game Samba de Amigo to the Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass, another trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and much more.

Here’s a rundown of some of the big hits:

 

Pikmin 4 hits Nintendo Switch on July 21:

 

 

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 detailed more DLC:

 

 

Samba de Amigo: Party Cental keeps the beat alive this summer:

 

 

Dead Cells is back for more with some intense Castlevania DLC, including 51 tracks from the series:

 

 

Who had Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective on their bingo card? The DS mystery game is mounting a comeback on Nintendo Switch this summer:

 

 

Here’s a preview of the Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass, which includes a return to a key location from the first game and more:

 

 

Wave 2 of the Fire Emblem Engage expansion pass launches later today.

 

Katamari ReROLL + Royal Reverie rolls around on Switch on June 2, with a free game trial available to Switch Online members.

 

RPG Sea of Stars launches on August 29, and the demo is available now via the eShop:

 

 

A collection of the first three Etrian Odyssey games is coming to Switch in HD remastered form in the Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection on June 1.

 

 

Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp finally arrives on April 21, with pre-orders now live:

 

 

Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe includes the special Magolor Epilogue adventure, available for up to four players upon completing the main game:

 

 

Nintendo Switch Online is adding Game Boy games, with Game Boy Advance games to also join the Nintendo Switch Online+ Expansion Pack! In fact, select Game Boy and GBA games will be available starting today.

 

 

The original Metroid Prime is being remastered for Switch, with the digital version available today and the physical version to follow on February 22.

 

 

Speaking of revivals, a pair of remastered Baten Kaitos games are on the way this summer.

 

A new Professor Layton mystery was briefly teased in the video for Professor Layton and the New World of Steam:

 

 

Mario Kart 8 is getting even more tracks with Wave 4 of its Booster Pass DLC, arriving this spring.

 

The video closed out with a fresh look at The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which hits Switch on May 12 along with a new amiibo, with pre-orders now live:
