Rookie Singer Shiyui Posts Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury Ending Theme MV
Rookie singer’s Shiyui‘s major debut single song “Kimi yo Kedakaku Are” (You, Be Noble) is now featured as the ending theme for the fall 2022 TV anime Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury. The song, produced by Ryo (supercell), was digitally released on October 9 and her official website has started streaming its music video.

Since launching her official Twitter account, YouTube and Nico Nico Douga channels in January 2021, Shiyui has been actively posting more than 70 performance videos. Following the digital release, her major debut CD single is set to be released in Japan on November 9, 2022.

Hello, I’m Shiyui, and I will be making my major label debut with “Kimi yo Kedakau Are” to be released on November 9. This song was newly written by supercell’s ryo-san, and I have a strong emotional attachment to it. The music of supercell inspired me to start singing, and since then I have been influenced by the world view of ryo-san’s works. I am truly honored to have ryo-san provide me with my debut song, and to have this song as the ending theme for “Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury.” I sang this song with the feeling of conveying all the lyrics, every single one, that inspire you and push you forward. I hope that the feelings contained in this song will reach the hearts of many people.

The latest Gundam TV series, Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury premiered in Japan on October 2, and is now simulcast on Crunchyroll for its members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS.
