As revealed during this weekend’s Aniplex Online Fest 2022 event, a sequel is officially in the works for the Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai anime. A teaser trailer made its way online along with the announcement, confirming that the cast and staff will be returning from the previous TV anime and movie.

Soichi Masui is once again directing the project, which will adapt the Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out and Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid light novels.

Based on the light novels written by Hajime Kamoshida and illustrated by Keji Mizoguchi, Crunchyroll streams the first Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai anime and describes it like so:

Puberty syndrome – Abnormal experiences rumored on the internet to be caused by sensitivity and instability during adolescence. This year, Sakuta Azusagawa, a second-year student at a high school near Enoshima, meets several girls that are experiencing this “puberty syndrome.” For instance, he meets a wild bunny girl in the library. She turns out to be an actress on hiatus, Mai Sakurajima, who is also his senior at the school. For some reason, no one else can see this enchanting girl. How did she become invisible…?

Stay tuned for further details as they’re announced!
