Ragna Crimson TV Anime Announces September 30 Premiere in New Trailer

The battle between humans and dragons comes to a head this September with the premiere of the TV anime adaptation of Daiki Kobayashi’s manga series Ragna Crimson. To reveal the anime’s premiere date today, a brand new trailer was released that also announced the addition of two more cast members ready to take up the dark fantasy cause.

 

 

Joining the cast of the Ragna Crimson TV anime are:

 

  • Reina Ueda (Kanao Tsuyuri in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba) as Ultimatia
  • Takehito Koyasu (DIO in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean) as Grymwelte

Ken Takahashi (Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya 3rei!!) directs Ragna Crimson at SILVER LINK. with characters designed by Shimpei Aoki (key animator on Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya) and scripts from Deko Akao (Komi Can’t Communicate). The TV anime adaptation is scheduled to premiere on September 30 with Sentai Filmworks set to stream it internationally, describing it as such:

 

Dragons reign terror over the earth, sea and sky. If sworn dragon hunters like Ragna are to have any hope of dealing death to these seemingly invincible, fire-breathing beasts, they must find a way to level the odds. Ragna teams up with a mysterious man named Crimson who has likewise sworn to stand against the dragons menacing the world. But although Crimson’s motivations may be mysterious, his goal and Ragna’s perfectly align, and together they’ll fight to vanquish the dragons once and for all.
