Pretty Cure 20th Anniversary Teacup Makes Teatime Magical
Magical girl anime franchise Pretty Cure is pulling out all the stops for its 20th anniversary celebrations. From live events to special merchandise, fans of the long-running series can celebrate in style. The latest in the anniversary catalogue is a must for fans of all things elegant: a bone china teacup and saucer set!
Made in collaboration with china dinnerware maker Noritake, the matched set features a colorful, lively pattern inspired by the many magical girls of the series. The center of the saucer bears the 20th anniversary logo in gold:

The set is priced at 9,900 yen, and will be unveiled at the upcoming Pretty Cure anniversary exhibition opening February 1 in Tokyo. While there, you can also pick up a special Pretty Cure anniversary blend tea to enjoy in your new teacup! Unlike the tea, though, you’ll be able to purchase the cup and saucer at a later date from Premium Bandai.
