Postponed Mazinger Z Stage Play Will Go on in November
Back in 2020, plans were afoot for a Mazinger Z stage production, produced by theatrical company HeroHero Q. For obvious reasons, the show was delayed indefinitely. But, fortunately for mecha anime fans, the show will go on next month.
Titled stand up! THE MAZINGER Z!!, the show will mark HeroHero Q’s 39th production. Voice actor Tomokazu Seki, who is also chairman of the company, will be appearing in each peformance. The script was penned by Naoyuki Yoshihisa in cooperation with Shinichi Ono, and the show is directed by Seki and Minoru Nosaka.
A new key visual was also released. How many familiar faces from the Mazinger franchise can you spot?
