Pokémon went all out tonight in a new trailer for the upcoming Scarlet and Violet games in which they showcased some extended gameplay of all four trainer routes as well as new Pokémon and picnics! The 14-minute trailer dives deeps into the new Terastal Phenomenon, raids on Terastal Pokémon and the unveiling of the TM Machine (or Technical Machine Machine), which crafts the moves once found in the wild.
Newly announced in the trailer was Farigiraf, the Paldean (and long overdue) evolution for Girafarig. Farigiraf is a Normal and Psychic Pokémon that has the abilities Cud Chew or Armor Tail and a very long neck. Both abilities are appearing for the first time in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet where Cud Chew lets the Pokémon each a berry a second time on the same turn at the end and Armor Tail cancels out priority moves for the opposing Pokémon.
All this and more will be found in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet when the games release exclusively on the Nintendo Switch around the world on November 18.
