P!NK to Perform Theme Song For Live-Action Knights of the Zodiac Film

Saint Seiya heads to Hollywood later this year with the release of the live-action Knights of the Zodiac film and while the western release date for the movie isn’t confirmed, April 28 will see the adaptation launch in its home country of Japan. Ahead of then, the film released a brand new poster of the Japanese release as well as details on the film’s theme song.

Knights of the Zodiac, which will be released in Japan under the title of Saint Saiya The Beginning, will see its theme song be performed by American pop-star P!NK singing “Courage.”

The cast of the live-action Knights of the Zodiac film includes Mackenyu as Seiya, Madison Iseman as Sienna and Sean Bean as Alman Kiddo. The film also stars Famke Janssen, Nick Stahl, Diego Tinoco, and Mark Dacascos. In addition to director Tomasz Baginski, other folks behind the scenes include Toei Animation producer Yoshi Ikezawa (Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac), fight choreographer Andy Cheng (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) and screenwriters Josh Campbell and Matt Stuecken (10 Cloverfield Lane).

 

Toei Animation with Toei will distribute the film in Japan, while Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions will distribute the film in other world markets except for China and the Middle East.
