PlayStation VR2 Set to Launch in February, Priced at $549.99

 

The long-awaited PlayStation VR2 is on it way—as of today, we have more information on the latest foray into virtual reality for home gaming systems, including one title you’ll be able to play right away!

 

The PSVR2 advertises more immersive gameplay through “headset feedback, eye tracking, 3D audio, and the adaptive triggers and haptic feedback from the PS VR2 Sense controllers.” The new headset also features 4000 x 2040 HDR video format (2000 x 2040 per eye), as well as other quality-of-life upgrades.

 

Gamers looking to add this rig to their home gaming setup will be able to pre-order starting November 15 in the U.S., U.K., France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg. Interested buyers can register for pre-orders starting today.

The PSVR2 headset, packaged with two controllers and headphones, has an MSRP of $549.99. For $599.99, you’ll be able to get the Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle, which also includes a voucher for the aforementioned game.

 

 

A controller charging station will also be available for $49.99.

 

 

Standalone software titles for the PSVR2 will also go on pre-order starting this month.

 

The PlayStation VR2 officially launches on February 22, 2023.
