After last week saw the tsundere Riho Tsukishima get her character, today it’s Ami Tsuruga’s turn to show off her prankster personality in the latest character trailer and visual for the upcoming The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses TV anime, based on the romantic comedy manga by Koji Seo and set to premiere in April 2023.

The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses TV anime is directed by Satoshi Kuwabara at  Tezuka Productions. The series will broadcast in Japan as part of the Mainichi Broadcasting System / Tokyo Broadcasting System “Super Animeism” programming block in April 2023.

 

The original The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses manga is published in Japan in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine with an English language version available from Kodansha USA, which describes the story of the series as such:

 

When Hayato’s grandmother passed, he planned to sell her rundown café on the shore—not realizing that it was also home to five young women who call themselves her family?! Their desperation to keep the café open convinces Hayato to give it a shot…but even their best intentions might not be enough to make it work! And can he even work with these five unruly women? No matter what, he’s got his work cut out for him!
