Octopath Traveler II Celebrates 1 Million Global Sales with Commemorative Art

Earlier this year, Square Enix launched Octopath Traveler II: a sequel to its much-loved 2018 RPG. In less than four months, the new game has already surpassed one million sales. That’s cause for celebration!

To mark the momentous occasion, staff artist Tatsuaki Urushihara has shared this piece, depicting a “certain party chat” with Osvald, Ochette, and Throné:

Octopath Traveler II launched on February 24, once again putting players in charge of eight characters—each with their own reasons for traversing the new world of Solistia. Square Enix describes the game:

The story takes place in Solistia, a land comprising an eastern and western continent divided by the sea. It is a bustling era, wherein large vessels navigate busy sea routes and the power of steam gives birth to new technologies. Some people thrill to glamorous stars of the stage and industry, while others are brought to tears by war, plague, and poverty. In this faraway realm, eight travelers hailing from different regions venture forth for their own reasons. Step into their shoes and explore the land as you see fit.
