Nights With A Cat Anime Gets An Appropriately Adorable Pop-Up Shop

With the popularity of the Nights With A Cat short anime growing with each passing week, it was only a matter of time before the playful feline protagnist/gremlin Kyuruga would get his own merch, but Kadokawa and Kinokuniya have seen fit to bless him with his own pop-up shop inside the flagship Kinokuniya bookstore in Shinjuku.

The pop-up will be held from September 22 until October 10 with a selection of merch including book-related accessories such as acrylic bookends and reusable bags, along with more conventional merch like keychains and buttons.

The original Nights with a Cat manga is published in Japan by Kadokawa Shoten, and in English via Yen Press, who describe the story:

When Fuuta comes home tired at night, all he wants to do is spend time with his sister’s cat, Kyuruga. So many of the mysterious habits and mannerisms of house cats—from the surprising array of shapes Kyuruga likes to twist into, to the bizarre challenge of getting a good photo of him, to his lightning-fast mood changes—are carefully reproduced in this relaxed and cute comedy about living with an adorable furball!
