Since those heady days, the game has managed to become a cult hit that has inspired everything from officially sanctioned cosplay patterns of its characters, to soundtracks, novels and even concerts. In between, the game has also managed ports to platforms such as Microsoft’s Xbox and Steam on PC. The latest port for Nintendo Switch is the most recently released version of the game which was launched last October to great fanfare, years after its initial release.
