New Pokémon TV Anime Trailer, Visual Hypes Up Final World Champion Battle

Warning! Spoilers for the currently airing episodes of the Pokémon anime in Japan.

 

 

The time has finally come for Ash to take on Leon and finally answer the series-long question: who is the Pokémon World Champion? A new trailer and visual for the Pokémon TV anime was released today hyping up the long-awaited battle between the once-champion of the Alola region and Orange Islands and the undefeated current reigning world champion.

 

 

 

The battle between Ash and Leon will take place over four episodes starting October 21 and run until November 11, a week before the new generation of Pokémon games release.

The latest Pokémon anime, which is known as Pokémon Journeys in the west, airs in Japan every Friday on TV Tokyo. Netflix is releasing the series in North America, with the latest batch will be released on October 21 under the title titled Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series.
