New Pokémon Anime Confirmed as Pokémon Horizons, New Trailer Unleashed

Pokémon Horizons: The Series

 

Tonight saw Ash’s Pokémon journey come to an end after 25 years of wanting to be a Pokémon master. But as one journey ends, another pops up just over the horizon. At the end of the last episode of Pokémon: Aim to be a Pokémon Master tonight, a brand new trailer for the new Pokémon anime was released along with the English side announcing international details on what will be Pokémon Horizons: The Series.

 

 

The Japanese trailer reveals that asmi featuring Chinozo will be singing the new opening theme song “Dokimeki Diary” for the Japanese version of Pokémon Horizons.

 

Alongside the trailer, it was also confirmed that the English names for the Rising Volt Tacklers, including Orla, Murdock, Mollie, Ludlow, as well as Explorers member Amethio and video streamer known as Nidothing. The Pokémon Company International describes Pokémon Horizons: The Series as such:

 

In “Pokémon Horizons: The Series,” dual protagonists Liko, whose partner Pokémon is Sprigatito, and Roy will encounter many characters during their journey, including a group led by Friede and Captain Pikachu called the Rising Volt Tacklers.

For those watching the current seasons of the Pokémon anime, the latest batch of Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series launched on February 24 on Netflix in the US, with the final batches, which feature Ash’s final episodes, being released at a later time. 

 

The newest Pokémon anime, titled Pokémon Horizons: The Series in the west, features the first new protagonists in the history of the franchise and starts in Japan on April 14 with Saori Den directing at OLM. the series comes international in 2023.
