New Animated Macross Project in the Works
Macross is back! Okay, it was never really gone, but still—exciting news for fans of the long-running giant robot/love triangle/musical franchise indeed.
The news comes with scant details, but we know that 1) it’s anime of some kind 2) it’s being animated at Sunrise, as usual (with the caveat, of course, that Sunrise is also known as Bandai Namco Filmworks these days).
Anyway, stay tuned for news on this latest project in the Macross-verse! (And thanks to that new deal, maybe we’ll even get it officially in the west!).
