Natsuki Kizu’s given Manga Announces New Anime Film Sequel

Natsuki Kizu’s manga given may be ending this month, but the story isn’t over!

Today, a new teaser dropped for an upcoming sequel anime film, featuring fresh art by Kizu. We don’t know much yet, except that the film will focus on Hiiragi Kashima, the childhood friend of series protagonist Mafuyu Sato.

Take a look (and a listen):

The teaser will also give you a taste of a new song by Centimillimental, the solo music project that provided themes for both the given anime series and the 2020 movie.

That’s all the information we have for now, other than one key phrase: “There’s something I’d like to do with you.” More info will be forthcoming.

The given anime series and 2020 film were directed by Hikaru Yamaguchi at studio Lerche (Classroom of the EliteToilet-bound Hanako-kun). Crunchyroll currently streams the full series, along with the live-action drama adaptation, describing it as such:

Somehow, the guitar that he used to love to play and the basketball games that he found so fun just lost their appeal… That was until Ritsuka Uenoyama randomly met Mafuyu Sato. Ritsuka had started losing his passion for music in his everyday life, but then he hears Mafuyu sing for the first time. The song resonates with his heart and the distance between them starts to change.
