Nao Aikawa of 22/7 Takes Break to Focus on Studies
Idol group 22/7 made an announcement via their official website to update with the latest goings on of one of its members, Nao Aikawa. It turns out she’s going to be taking a break from her activities in the group so she can focus on her studies. Her hiatus will begin on January 19, which means she’ll be around for the Nana Niji Live 2023 events on January 16 and 18 but won’t be around for the 52OSAKA ~Girls Castle~ on February 19.
As for when Aikawa will return to the group, she plans to announce that at a later date.
Aikawa was one of eight new members who joined back in February 2022, bringing the total number of members to 14. Five members—Urara Takatsuji, Ruri Umino, Mizuha Kuraoka, Aina Takeda and Chiharu Hokaze—have graduated since December 2020 along with their respective characters
