My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999 TV Anime Previews Adorable Gamer Boy

 

A new character preview has been published for My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999, an upcoming TV anime based on the romantic comedy by Mashiro about a girl on the rebound who seeks new romance through her favorite online game.

 

The PV (below) focuses on Eita Sasaki (voiced by Natsuki Hanae), the elder brother of Runa Sasaki. Eita looks after his younger sister and also acts like a big brother to Akane after she loses her boyfriend. Despite his cool and taciturn appearance, his personality is actually quite cute and affectionate.

The original My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999 manga is serialized by Media Factory in their Ganma! shojo manga magazine, and an English language version is also available from Mangamo under the title Loving Yamada at Lv999!. Mangamo describes the story of the series as follows:

 

Recently dumped, Akane is just about to quit the game she used to play with her boyfriend, when she meets Yamada in the same RPG. Yamada in real life turns out to be somewhat of a legend. The only problem is – he is ONLY interested in the game. As Akane’s feelings grow, will Yamada’s focus stay on the game?

 

The My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999 TV anime is directed by Morio Asaka and features animation production by MADHOUSE. The series is scheduled to broadcast in Japan on TOKYO MX and other stations beginning on April 01, 2023.
