Mr. Villain’s Day Off TV Anime Pins Up Teaser Visual

General is set to only do the bear minimum in the upcoming anime adaptation of the Mr Villain’s Day Off comedy manga, panda-ring to the audience in a brand-new teaser visual. Shintaro Asanuma (Watashi in The Tatami Galaxy) voices the disgruntled leader of an evil organization who can’t resist the joys of life on Earth.

Based on the manga by Yu Morikawa, Mr Villain’s Day Off is being directed by Yoshinori Odaka (BEM) at studios Shin-Ei Animation and SynergySP, with series composition by Midori Goto (Smile of the Arsnotoria the Animation), character designs by Tomomi Shimazaki (A Couple of Cuckoos sub character design) and music by Nobuaki Nobusawa (ASTRA LOST IN SPACE).

 

Manga UP!, which digitally publishes the manga’s official English version, describes the series as such:

 

An Evil Organization from another planet is trying to take over Earth. An extraterrestrial from that organization named the “General” tirelessly fights against Earth’s defenders every single day in a battle of life and death!

 

However, today is his day off.

 

A release date for the anime adaptation is yet to be revealed.
