Monsters Scuffle in Yo-Kai Watch Special Edition Theatrical Animation

 

Former friends will become bitter rivals in the ultimate Yo-Kai battle, because a special edition theatrical animation for Yo-Kai Watch♪ is heading to Japanese theaters in January of 2023. The film is entitled Yo-Kai Watch♪ Jibanyan VS Komasan Mongee Dai-kessen da Nyan, and it features direction by Ryousuke Senbo and animation production by OLM.

The story of Yo-Kai Watch♪ Jibanyan VS Komasan Mongee Dai-kessen da Nyan revolves around the mysterious disappearance of Jibanyan’s favorite candy and Komasan’s favorite soft serve ice cream. An enigmatic Yo-kai appears before them and claims that the only way to retrieve the missing sweets is for Jibanyan and Komasan to fight each other!

 

Yo-Kai Watch♪ Jibanyan VS Komasan Mongee Dai-kessen da Nyan will be released in Aeon Cinemas and other theatrical venues in Japan on January 13, 2023.
