Meet Kirito & Asuna in Sword Art Online Live Show “-DIVE TO STAGE-” Key Visual
The official website for Sword Art Online -DIVE TO STAGE-, the forthcoming live entertainment show inspired by Reki Kawahara’s sci-fi adventure light novel series, has been updated with a key visual introducing its two main cast members – Rin Matsubara (Fumikage Tokoyami in My Hero Academia stage plays) as Kirito and Minami Tsukui (Yoko Minato / Kamen Rider Marika in Kamen Rider Gaim) as Asuna.

Sword Art Online -DIVE TO STAGE- is scheduled to be performed at Tokyo International Forum Hall C from November 8 to 13, 2022. Following the advance sales from October 8 to 16, general sales of the tickets will begin on October 30. The story of the show is based on the novel’s first arc, “Aincrad Arc,” and the characters’ lines are delivered in their original voices from the TV anime, along with newly recorded voices for this special stage.
The site introduces the show’s concept as: “The story will be told with great intensity through a fusion of the stage utilizing the latest technology and the stunning action and performance by the live cast members. This is the birth of a new kind of live entertainment that immerses the audience in the world of SAO.”
