Mascots Have Fun in Gunma Chan Season Two Trailer

 

A peppy new preview video (below) has been published for the second season of Gunma Chan, the ongoing TV anime based on the daily adventures of the official regional mascot character for Gunma Prefecture in Japan. It has also been revealed that the main cast from the first season of the series will reprise their roles for the second season.

Gunma Chan is written and directed by Mitsuru Hongo and features animation production by Ascension. The new season will broadcast in Japan on BS Fuji and TOKYO MX beginning on April 08, 2023, with later broadcasts to follow on TOKYO MX beginning on April 9th and on AT-X beginning on April 13th.

 

Crunchyroll has also begun streaming the first season of Gunma Chan, and describes the series as follows:

 

Gunma-chan has a magical power that can soothe those around him, and he ventures around the prefecture along with his friends Aoma and Mimi, meeting many different types of people along the way.
