Marie Iitoyo Joins the Cast Black Clover Anime Film as Original Character

The Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King anime film will be soon taking its magic to Netflix in March next year, but ahead of then, the franchise announced that Japanese model and actress Marie Iitoyo will be joining the cast as the original character Mille Maxwell, who was created by manga creator Yuki Tabata for the film.

Marie Iitoyo is mostly known for her work in asadora (morning drama) series’ on NHK as well as being the voice of Tomohisa Taguchi in The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbyes anime film.

Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King premieres in Japanese theaters and Netflix around the world on March 31, 2023, with Ayataka Tanemura returning to direct from the TV anime series at Pierrot.
