Malevolent Spirits: Mononogatari Anime’s Cour 2 Airs in July 2023
Following the broadcast of Malevolent Spirits: Mononogatari episode 12, the official accounts confirmed the series’ second cour will premiere in July 2023. Crunchyroll is also announcing today the series will continue to broadcast on the service when cour 2 airs in the summer.

Ryuichi Kimura directs the Malevolent Spirits: Mononogatari TV anime with animation production by Bandai Namco Pictures. The original Malevolent Spirits: Mononogatari manga is serialized in Shueisha’s Ultra Jump manga magazine, and with Seven Seas Entertainment releasing the English language version of the manga. Crunchyroll describes the story:
Filled with rage against spirits known as tsukumogami, Kunato Hyoma is sent to live with Nagatsuki Botan to help him see a different side. Though both are part of a clan that return the spirits back to their world with divine powers, their experiences with the otherworldly vessels are vastly different. Kunato, robbed of a loved one, and Nagatsuki, saved by them. Can she get through to him?
