The song will be included in her double A-side CD single “Mada Touku ni Iru (You are still far away) / un_mute” to be released from Flying Dog on January 25, 2023. “Mada Touku ni Iru” will be used as the ending theme for another winter 2023 TV anime, The Fire Hunter, in which she is also cast as one of the main characters, Akira. The bonus CD for the single’s first press limited edition contains the 12 songs performed at her “Maaya Sakamoto LIVE 2022 ‘un_mute'” concert in Tokyo International Forum Hall A on November 26 and 27, 2022.

The music video for “un_mute” shows two sides of Maaya Sakamoto – one who is singing in a space where time stands still and another is singing with her eyes closed in a space illuminated by small grains of light. The former expresses a sense of stagnation and self-deficiency, while the latter represents her true self.
