Lycoris Recoil Takes a Shot at Stage Play Adaptation in January 2023

Forget Chekhov’s Gun, we’re about to see Chisato’s Gun (and many more, I’m sure) in a Lycoris Recoil stage play adaptation that was just announced for next year. Directed and written by Akira Yamazaki, performances will take place from January 7 to January 15 at The Galaxy Theatre in Tokyo.

Based on the original story by Asaura (Ben-To), the Lycoris Recoil anime is directed by Shingo Adachi (Sword Art Online character designer) and assistant-directed by Yusuke Maruyama (PERSONA5 the Animation episode director) at studio A-1 Pictures, with series composition by Shingo Adachi, character designs by Muru Imigi (This Art Club Has a Problem! mangaka) and music by Shuhei Mutsuki (SPY x FAMILY).
