Love Live! Eli VA Yoshino Nanjo Releases New MV from Her 10th Anniversary Album
The official YouTube channel for voice actress/singer Yoshino Nanjo, best known as Eli Ayase in the Love Live! franchise, has posed a two-minute music video for “Journey’s Trunk,” the lead track from her forthcoming fifth solo album of the same name.
The album will be released on December 21, 2022, to commemorate the tenth anniversary of her solo artist debut. While performing as a member of the Love Live! franchise’s voice actress idol unit μ’s, she made her solo singer debut in 2012, and has released 13 singles. In addition, she also performed as the second singer of the two-member anisong unit fripSide from 2009 to 2022.
The lyrics of “Journey’s Trunk” were written by Nanjo herself. In the lyrics, she describes her current location as “in the middle of a journey,” and expresses her expectations for where she is headed and the path she has taken in her 10-year music career. A full version of the MV will be included in her MV collection Blu-ray “Journey’s Trunk ~Memorial Music Clips~” to be released on the same day as the album.
