Love Interest Plays It Cool in Loving Yamada at Lv999! TV Anime Character PV

 

The male lead is cool as a cucumber in a new character preview video for Loving Yamada at Lv999!, an upcoming TV anime based on the romantic comedy manga by Mashiro. The video (below) focuses on the titular Akito Yamada (voiced by Koki Uchiyama) and how he doesn’t quite understand how his friend and fellow video game player, Akane Kinoshita, is developing romantic feelings for him.

The original Loving Yamada at Lv999! manga is serialized by Media Factory in their Ganma! shojo manga magazine, and an English language version is also available from Mangamo, who describe the story of the series as follows:

 

Recently dumped, Akane is just about to quit the game she used to play with her boyfriend, when she meets Yamada in the same RPG. Yamada in real life turns out to be somewhat of a legend. The only problem is – he is ONLY interested in the game. As Akane’s feelings grow, will Yamada’s focus stay on the game?

 

The Loving Yamada at Lv999! TV anime is directed by Morio Asaka and features animation production by MADHOUSE. The series is scheduled to broadcast in Japan on TOKYO MX and other stations beginning on April 01, 2023.
