Live Spectacle NARUTO Stage Play Gets Its Final Chapter in 2023

 

 

With the announcement at the Jump Festa panel, the official website for the Live Spectacle NARUTO stage play series confirmed on December 17 that its new show, entitled “The Final Chapter,” is set to be performed in 2023.

 

The stage play adaptation project based on Masashi Kishimoto’s internationally popular action manga series Naruto was launched in 2015 and continues to be highly acclaimed both at home and abroad. Its latest show, “Live Spectacle NARUTO – Ninkai Taisen, Kaisen (Shinobi World War, Outbreaks)” was performed in Osaka and Tokyo in October 2022 (its first 12 performances in Tokyo in Spetember were cancelled due to COVID-19).

While plot details of the new show are unknown, according to the announcement, the play’s recent main cast members, including Masaki Nakao as Naruto Uzumaki, Ryuji Sato as Sasuke Uchiha, Yui Ito as Sakura Haruno, and Yuuki Kimizawa as Kakashi Hatake, will return. Akiko Kodama, who has worked on the project since its launch, will write and direct once again.
