Listen to Theme Song, New Actors for Demon Slayer’s Swordsmith Village Arc

The anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc (Kimetsu no Yaiba: Katanakaji no Sato-Hen in Japanese) will debut in April, but some teaser goodies have just been released in the meantime. A Demon Slayer livestream event talked about the anime arc’s opening theme song and its new actors, and shared clips of each.

For starters, the arc’s opening theme song will be called “Kizuna no Kiseki” (translated as “Bonds of Miracle”) and performed by MAN WITH A MISSION and milet. Here is a 38-second video to give you a taste of the song.

Next, we learned some more about the new actors. Ryotaro Okiayu will play Kokushibo (upper rank 1), Toshio Furukawa will play Hantengu (upper rank 4), and Kousuke Toriumi will play Gyokko (upper rank 5). Earlier, it had already been unveiled that Mamoru Miyano will play Doma (upper rank 2). Here you can listen in to the new voices.

The actors from the previous arcs will be back to voice their characters. The anime is being made at ufotable, with Haruo Sotozaki helming as director. When the new arc starts coming out this April, it will be with a one-hour special.

There are also the World Tour Screenings: Demon Slayer: The Upper Ranks Gather and Onward to the Swordsmith Village to look forward to. These screenings will occur in more than 95 countries and areas, and will consist of watching Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc’s episodes ten and eleven, plus the first episode in the Swordsmith Village Arc.

VIZ Media publishes the original Demon Slayer manga, and gave this description for the first volume:

“Learning to destroy demons won’t be easy, and Tanjiro barely knows where to start. The surprise appearance of another boy named Giyu, who seems to know what’s going on, might provide some answers—but only if Tanjiro can stop Giyu from killing his sister first!”
