LiSA, Aimer, Eir Aoi, ReoNa Join Yuki Kajiura Solo Project FictionJunction’s New Album

 

 

Acclaimed anime soundtrack composer Yuki Kajiura’s solo project FictionJunction has announced guest singers who will join its forthcoming new album “PARADE” to be released on April 19, 2023. It will be the project’s first album in nine years, following “elemental” in January 2014.

The album includes “from the edge,” the first ending theme for the Demon Slayer: Kimtetsu no Yaiba TV anime featuring LiSA, “Sokyu no Fanfare” (Fanfare of the Azure Sky), which was written for the Sword Art Online franchise’s 10th anniversary and performed by Eir Aoi, ASCA, and ReoNa, as well as “Kai,” a new song by Aimer.

 

A total of 12 singers join the album’s recording, including KAORI, KEIKO, YURIKO KAIDA and Joelle, who have been participating in the Yuki Kajiura LIVE concerts since 2018, and Aira Yuuki (ASUKA), who has not worked with Kajiura for 18 years since “everlasting song” released in 2005.
