Originally revealed along with Like a Dragon 8 back in September 2022, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name brings Kiryu back for more brawling action. SEGA shared a new trailer at Summer Game Fest 2023, showing off gameplay footage and lining the side story up for a November 9 launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Those who pre-order will get the Legendary Fighter Pack, which adds in some more iconic yakuza to the Battle Arena, including:


  • Goro Majima – The Mad Dog of Shimano
  • Taiga Saejima – The Slayer of Eighteen
  • Daigo Dojima – 6th Chairman of the Tojo Clan


Synopsis and features:


Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name follows the story of Kazuma Kiryu, operating under the codename “Joryu.” Once a legendary yakuza, he faked his own death and abandoned his name for the sake of protecting his family. Now, he is thrust into conflict by a mysterious figure attempting to drive him out of hiding. Thrilling sub-missions will draw you into an epic showdown that unfolds the more you explore and enjoy Sotenbori and Yokohama.
