Legendary’s Godzilla Gets Chonky Blue Variant Figure from Plex
Godzilla fans with big wallets and money to burn will soon have a cool new toy to collect, because Plex is publishing a variant figure of the Legendary Pictures MonsterVerse Godzilla that not only reproduces the blue-lit color scheme of the movie posters, but also is nearly a meter long and nearly half a meter tall!

Based on the mold of a previous figure published in 2019, the “Gigantic Series Godzilla (2019) Blue Clear Ver.” is made of PVC and it measures about 47 centimeters tall (18.5 inches) at the head (or about 53 centimeters tall at the tip of the tail), about 97 centimeters (38.2 inches) long, and about 34 centimeters (13.4 inches) wide.
The “Gigantic Series Godzilla (2019) Blue Clear Ver.” figure retails for 93,500 yen (about $623.76 US). Pre-orders for the figure are currently available through the Premium Bandai website, and the final product is scheduled to begin shipping in Japan in February of 2023.
