Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible Anime Postponed After Episode 6

kubo won't let me be invisible

Buckle up, friends, because it’s going to be another extra-long anime season. Following announcements of COVID-19 related delays for Ayakishi Triangle, NieR:Automata Ver1.1a and UniteUp!, the latest anime to meet a similar fate is the adaptation of Nene Yukimori’s Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible manga.

According to an announcement on the official Twitter account, the Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible anime will be postponed following the airing of episode 6. Unlike the other announcements, though, we actually have an idea of when this one will return. A broadcast restart from the beginning has been penciled in for April.

Rent-a-Girlfriend director Kazuomi Koga is at the helm, with Yuya Takahashi (Selection Project) on series composition and Yoshiko Saito (animation director on Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation) handling character designs at anime studio PINE JAM (Kageki Shojo!!). The anime is currently available to stream via HIDIVE.

The original manga is available on Shueisha’s MANGA Plus app. HIDIVE will stream the anime, and here’s the official synopsis:

Junta Shiraishi has just one goal: to experience youth to the fullest! But this is easier said than done. Junta is so socially invisible that people at school would swear he skipped class even when he’s sitting right behind them. Everything changes when Junta meets Nagisa Kubo. She’s the only person who pays Junta any attention, and her constant teasing is sure to turn Junta’s quiet life upside down because Kubo won’t let him be invisible!
