Kids Seek Paradise in Doraemon: Nobita’s Sky Utopia Anime Film Trailer

Doraemon prepares to press a big blue button to activate his airship in a scene from the upcoming Doraemon: Nobita's Sky Utopia theatrical anime film.

An exciting new preview video has been published and the official theme song performers have been revealed for Doraemon: Nobita’s Sky Utopia (known in Japan as Eiga Doraemon: Nobita to Sora no Utopia), the latest entry in the long-running theatrical anime film series based on the beloved children’s manga by Fujiko F. Fujio about a group of kids who find adventure with a robot cat from the future.

The theme song for the film, entitled “Paradise”, is performed by the nine member musical group NiziU (pictured below).

In Doraemon: Nobita’s Sky Utopia, Nobita, Doraemon, and the rest of the gang set out on an adventure in search of the sort of legendary utopias — like Atlantis or the Dragon King’s Palace beneath the sea — that people have been dreaming about since ancient times. With the help of a time-traveling ship, they discover Paradapia, a civilization of floating islands where everyone lives happily and everything is perfect…or so it seems…
