KanoeRana’s In/Spectre Season 2 Opening Theme MV Invites You into Spooky World

 

 

Japanese singer-songwriter KanoeRana has posted a full music video for her latest digital single song “Yotogibanashi” (Night’s Fairy Tales), which is now featured as the opening theme for the much-awaited second season of the TV anime In/Spectre.

KanoeRana made her professional singer debut in August 2016 and has released two CD singles, 11 digital singles, three mini-albums, and five full albums. Last year she sang “Kingyobachi” (goldfish bowl), the theme song for Kenji Kamiyama’s WOWOW original film, Eien no 831.

 

“Yotogibanashi” is her first theme song work for a TV anime. In the music video, boys visit a haunted place and being startled by mysterious phenomena and running away, while KanoeRana is dressed in white with a bewitching atmosphere.

Following the first season in the winter 2020 season, the much-awaited second season of the In/Spectre TV anime series finally premiered in Japan on January 8, 2023. Its first episode “That God’s Name Is” is now avialable for the Crunchyroll Premium members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.

 

Crunchyroll describes the series as such:

 

Iwanaga Kotoko became the god of wisdom to the supernatural beings and spends her days solving problems for them. However, the boy who she fell head over heels for, Sakuragawa Kuro, is someone that is feared by all supernatural creatures. The two of them face various mysterious incidents involving the supernatural in this love x romance x mystery series. Where will these fantastical incidents lead them and what will happen with Kotoko’s crush?
