KanColle Season 2: Let’s Meet at Sea TV Anime Reveals Final Episode Broadcast

 

The official Twitter account for the KanColle Season 2: Let’s Meet at Sea TV anime updated tonight after the airing of the seventh episode of the ship-girls series revealing that the eighth and final episode will air in Japan on March 25 at 8:30 PM.

This long break between seven and eight is just part of a string of delays for the series after episode four was pushed back a few months ago due to “production circumstances.”

KanColle Season 2: Let’s Meet at Sea is set in a different continuity than that of the original KanColle series and film, along with having a new staff, a new studio they work at and new voice actors. The series is directed by Kazuya Miura and features animation production by Engi. The show premiered on November 3 and will run for eight episodes, with Crunchyroll streaming the series.

 

Crunchyroll currently streams the 2015 KanColle TV anime and describes the story of the series as such:

 

Set in a world where humanity has lost control of the oceans to the “deep sea fleet,” the only hope to counter this threat are the Kanmusu, a group of girls who possess the spirit of Japanese warships. The story revolves around Fubuki, a destroyer who comes to the Chinjufu base to train with other Kanmusu. Watch as their stories unfold!
