Jinzou Konchuu Kabutoborg VxV is All Grown Up in New Key Visuals

 

Back in 2006, Jinzou Konchuu Kabutoborg VxV brought Takara Tomy’s Kabutoborg toy line to kids’ TV screens. It’s been more than 16 years since the show went off the air, and a new line is coming out this spring. To celebrate, fans can see the stars of the show all grown up in a new series of key visuals!

 

The first, which went live today, shows series protagonist Ryuusei Amanogawa as an adult:

A new visual will go live on the website every day for five consective days. Additionally, the Takara Tomy YouTube Channel will be streaming one episode of Kabutoborg VxV every week. (Availability may vary by region.)

 

What’s all of this in aid of? A fresh new toy line, of course! Starting in April, a new line of Kabutoborg toys will go on sale. Have a look at the first four to be reproduced, as well as their battle stage:

Takara Tomy’s Kabutoborg toy line first launched in 2004, followed by the the “Glow-Up” line in 2005. Upgrades have been made to these new versions, including increased power in the charge-up wheels for speedier pullback car action.

 

The new toys will be available on Takara Tomy’s website, as well as department stores and toy stores across Japan.
