IDOLiSH7 LIVE 4bit BEYOND THE PERiOD Anime Film Gets 2 Versions With Different Songlists

 

Following up on the January announcement of the forthcoming IDOLIiSH7 feature film IDOLiSH7 LIVE 4bit BEYOND THE PERiOD, more details have been released. In keeping with the live performance nature of the franchise, it was confirmed that the film will feature two distinct versions with different songlists that will be screened on consecutive days during its initial theatrical run that will begin on May 20 in Japan.

The separate screenings are split into DAY 1 and DAY 2, with DAY 1 being screened on May 20th, DAY 2 being screened on May 21st, and both versions will be available in theaters after May 22. In addition, a new song called “Pieces of The World”, in which a total of 16 members from 4 groups are featured, is included in the latest teaser trailer embedded below:

3rd wave advance movie ticket bonus

 

Starting on On March 11th, the 3rd wave of advance movie tickets will go on sale with a bonus “new visual” by Orange featuring IDOLiSH7 groups, TRIGGER, Re:vale, and ZOOL. The latest bonus will be available at screening theaters nationwide when the film opens, and an additional bonus for ticket presales includes a smartphone wallpaper of the key visual, and a digital movie ticket card. Advance ticket purchases can also be used for both “DAY1” and “DAY2” screenings.

 

Finally, on May 24th, the regular edition of the compilation album “BEYOND THE PERiOD” will be released. In addition to the full version of the new song “Pieces of The World”, all the songs performed in the main film will be featured in the release. Additionally on June 21st, deluxe editions in both A and B parts will be released, which will feature a new visual by Orange and as an additional bonus, a download card will be included.

 

Hiroshi Nishikiori (A Certain Magical Index) is directing the film alongside Kensuke Yamamoto (episodes of BEASTARSIDOLiSH7, VFX art director for TRIGUN STAMPEDE), with Bunta Tsushimi serving as screenwriter and Arina Tanemura credited once again as original character designer.
