HYPNOSISMIC TV Anime Drops Teaser Trailer and Visual Featuring All Six Divisions

 

As reported last monthHYPNOSISMIC -Division Rap Battle- Rhyme Anima is gearing up for a second season. The anime adaptation of the rap-centric HYPNOSISMIC media mix project had further details confirmed at this weekend’s live show, including a release window and the addition of two more divisions to the series!

 

The second season adds a “Plus” to its title, which hinted at the arrival of Nagoya’s Bad Ass Temple and Osaka’s Doitsutare Hompo based on the titling of previous tracks. The two groups do indeed make an appearance, both in the show’s new key visual:

An October 2023 premiere has also been confirmed.

 

HYPNOSISMIC -Division Rap Battle- is an original media mix project created in 2017 by the King Records label EVIL LINE RECORDS. Since then, the project has expanded to include multiple live concerts and CDs, a mobile game, several spinoff manga, stage plays, and an anime. Crunchyroll is streaming the first season of the anime, which it summarizes thus:

 

Legendary rap group The Dirty Dawg could have taken Japan by storm, but then they broke up. Now each member fights in one of the four rival groups. Battles for turf are fought with rap and the Hypnosis Mic, a microphone that can affect the human spirit.
