Hitmen Raise a Family in Buddy Daddies Original TV Anime


Previously teased last week, the main cast, the main staff, a new key visual, and a teaser trailer have all been revealed for Buddy Daddies, an upcoming original TV anime about a pair of professional assassins who accidentally end up taking care of the daughter of a mob boss. The main staff for Buddy Daddies includes:

The main cast for Buddy Daddies includes:


  • Toshiyuki Toyonaga as Kazuki Kurusu.

  • And Hina Kino as Miri Unasaka.

The story of Buddy Daddies follows Kazuki Kurusu, a criminal contractor / coordinator who lives with his best friend, Rei Suwa, a professional assassin who has been raised from childhood to be a contract killer. Kazuki is outgoing and loves gambling and women, while Rei is a man of few words who spends his off time playing video games. One day, the two buddies end up caring for Miri Unasaka, a four year old girl whose father is a mafia boss, after Miri accidentally wanders into a firefight in a hotel while looking for her father.


A key visual for the upcoming Buddy Daddies TV anime featuring the main characters Kazuki Kurusu, Rei Suwa, and Miri Unasaka. Kazuki is dressed in casual clothes and Rei wears a three piece suit and driving clothes. Both Kazuki and Rei are wielding pistols, while Miri has a toy dart gun.

An official home page and Twitter feed have also been published for Buddy Daddies. The series is scheduled to broadcast in Japan beginning in January of 2023.
