Hiroyuki Nakao’s Robot Hero Project ‘Bullbuster’ Gets TV Anime in 2023

The robot hero project Bullbuster continues to expand its range by announcing today that the project has spawned a TV anime that is scheduled to air in 2023. To celebrate the announcement, a teaser visual has been released and the lead staff and cast have been revealed.

The staff and cast of the Bullbuster TV anime are as follows:

  • Original Character Design – Eisaku Kubonouchi

The Bullbuster project is the brainchild of director Hiroyuki Nakao, manga artist Eisaku Kubonouchi, sci-fi researcher Yuya Takashima and mech designer Juki Izumo, and has already spawned two novels with more to be released soon. The plan is to continue to expand the project to manga, doujinshi and even live-action!

 

Bullbuster will also be returning to the Kitakyushu Pop Culture Festival on November 27 after appearing first as an original story set in the region in 2019. A talk with the lead cast will be happening at a special stage event on November 27 at 3:35 PM along with a booth set up over both November 26 and 26.
